End of Year Review 2007I cant remember much about the beginning of 2007, but towards the middle of the year I things started pickup. I did work to loose alot of weight, which went pretty well.
Summer 2007 was great. I had to go to Summer School for grade 11 math for the month of July. In August I visited Romania which was great, went to Monte Negro for the Sea, visited alot of different sites. Summer 2007 was great.
In September 2007 (after I returned from Vacation) I got into Trios college to study computer networking. I got two certs so far (A+, Vista). I hope I will continue to get good certs and get good marks. In September I also got my HP laptop, which is my first 17in laptop, which is great.
This year I got my first Quad Core cpu, the Intel Core 2 duo Q6600. Amazing cpu, I use it for seti@HOME proving me with great results.
Overall I got alot of good things happened for me towards the end of the year. At the beginning of December I got hired for Walmart as a temporary in the electronics department. Which is a really amazing, as it is my first "real job" and also my first job in the retail department. This job also helped me get some money for Christmas presents. I hope to continue working for Walmart part time.
Before and after Christmas I baught my self alot of stuff. I got the PSP, which is a fun little portable console. Music sounds great on the psp, and videos look great too. Half way through December I was lucky enough to buy a Wii. Wii must be the most fun console ever made. For Christmas I got a nice XFX 680i SLI motherboard (my first ever SLI motherboard). I also got the Z5500 speakers (5.1 surround) they sound amazing for music and movies. I later picked up a Playstation 3 (only thing I can complain about is the noise it makes), game graphics are amazing, much better then Wii, but Wii is still more fun. The Playstation 3 offers so much more then just a simple gaming console, its got Bluray drive (Bluray movies look and sound great), I can even choose to install Linux on the Playstation 3 and get a full computer. And final gift, I got after Christmas on boxing day was, the 24in Samsung LCD monitor (1920x1200 resolution makes a difference, and oh ya 2in makes a huge difference compared to my 22in Dell LCD), my only complaint -- I wish it was bigger. (who knows if prices drop ill get a 30in LCD monitor by next boxing day).
